1. The student has not been charged with any disciplinary action by the University.
|

2. Students with outstanding fees will not be considered.
|
|

3. Students with a significant number of publications are encouraged to apply. However, please observe these requirements related to the publications
|
|
|
counted for the award.

|
|
* We only consider publications for which the student is the first student author.
|
|
|
* Publications must include the name of your supervisor. If you have more than one supervisor, at least one of your supervisors’ names should
|
|
|
be listed as the author. Publications without the name of the main/co-supervisor will not be considered.
|
|
|
* Only UTM-affiliated publications will be considered.
|
|
|
* Publications must be related to your PhD/master’s work and be published/accepted during the duration of the study.
|
|
|
* Students will need to provide proof of the indexed article(s) (i.e. Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, WOS, SCOPUS/ERA) from the official site or database.
|
|
|
4. Students need to provide a certificate/official letter of related activities participated in during the duration of the study. Activities include conferences,
|
|
|
recognition or intellectual property/commercialisation.
|
|
|
5. All information for the application is based on the current programme of studies only.
|
|
|
6. Only applications recommended by the supervisor and endorsed by the faculty/school will be considered.
|
|
|
7. After online submission, the applicant is required to follow up with the supervisor to verify his/her application.
|
|
|
8. The result of application is strictly final and no appeal will be entertained.
|
|
|
9. The application can only be submitted once and no resubmission is allowed.
|
|
10. The approval of the application will ONLY be emailed to the winners.
